Hello Carlisle Families,
My name is Dr. Hope Bratton, and I am honored to serve as the new Principal of Carlisle Elementary School. I am truly excited to join the Bison family and begin this new journey alongside such a welcoming and supportive community.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (K–6) and a Master’s Degree in P–12 Educational Administration from Henderson State University. I also earned a Specialist in Education and my Superintendency License through Arkansas State University and recently completed my Doctorate in Supervisional Leadership at Arkansas Tech University.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to serve in administrative roles across multiple districts within ALE programs, as well as teach various grade levels in the classroom. These experiences have shaped my deep belief in the power of strong relationships. I believe that when students feel known, valued, and supported by their teachers, staff, and school leaders, they thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
My philosophy of education centers on the idea that every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and challenging learning environment. I believe in fostering a culture where equity, high expectations, and mutual respect guide everything we do. Each student brings unique strengths, and it is our responsibility as educators to meet them where they are, help them grow, and celebrate every milestone along the way.
I am committed to open and honest communication, being present and visible throughout our school, and making decisions that always prioritize what’s best for our students. As we begin this school year, I look forward to building meaningful connections with our families, empowering our teachers, and working together to ensure every student at Carlisle Elementary reaches their fullest potential.
Thank you for such a warm welcome. I am proud to be part of the Carlisle community and excited for all the great things we will accomplish together.
